The last two suspects in an Albany barbershop shooting that killed a barber and wounded 19-year-old and 9-year-old victims pleaded guilty on Friday, July 10, authorities said.
Samir Princeton, 22, and Dejoune Smith, 21, copped to first-degree manslaughter just before they were set to start trial Monday, July 13, the Albany County District Attorney’s office said.
Princeton, of Albany, and Smith, of Troy, were part of a four-person crew that shot up Village Barber & Beauty on Second Avenue on May 13, 2023, according to authorities.

Farrell Ryan, 45, of Slingerlands, arrived at a camp in Guilderland around 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 to scoop her child, the Guilderland Police Department said.

Jun Wang, 64, was sentenced to five years and 10 months behind bars on Tuesday, July 7 in Albany federal court, the Justice Department said.
