Mystery Surrounds Man Found Dead Near Nassau County Strip Mall Before Dawn
A man was found dead off a Long Island road early Monday, Sept. 14, police said. Cops responded to an aided call around 4:05 a.m. in Uniondale, the Nassau County Police Department announced. When officers arrived, they found an “unknown male” in the area of 979 Nassau Road, just north of where the street passes over the Southern State Parkway, police said. A drunk-driving Long Island man who killed a woman in a crash and briefly fled the scene has pleaded guilty, authorities said Monday, Sept. 14.
