Edison Aguilar, of Patchogue, was riding a 2008 Honda motorcycle north on Route 112 in Medford when he collided with a southbound Toyota Matrix at the intersection with Southaven Avenue at 6:53 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, according to Suffolk County Police.  The Toyota was attempting to make a left turn onto Southaven Avenue when the motorcycle struck the vehicle, police said.
