Police have released more details about a head-on minivan crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Rockland County that injured nine people and left a child in critical condition.
The crash happened at around 1:10 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway near Exit 11 in Ramapo, as Daily Voice previously reported.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the chest and buttocks in Dutchess County over the weekend, prompting an ongoing police investigation.
The shooting happened in Poughkeepsie just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, in the area of Montgomery Street and South Hamilton Street, according to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
