Man Nabbed Stealing $225K In Goods From Storage Container In Hudson Valley, Police Say
An area 71-year-old has been charged with grand larceny after allegedly stealing more than $225,299 in property from a storage container.
Ulster County resident Anthony Diguiseppe, of Accord, a hamlet of the town of Rochester, was arrested on Sunday, March 19.
On Friday, March 3, State Police began an investigation of stolen property that exceeded $225,229, said Trooper Steve Nevel.
The Investigation revealed that Diguiseppe removed items from a storage container that did not belong to him and moved them to another location, Nevel added.

School Swatting Threats: 50 NY Districts Report New Round Of Incidents
More than 50 school districts across New York reported receiving swatting threats of an active shooter.
The districts reporting the incidents on Tuesday, April 4 were located on Long Island, in Central New York, the Southern Tier, and the North Country, authorities said.

Therapist Busted Practicing Without License In Capital Region, Police Say
A therapist in the region is facing charges for allegedly practicing without a license.
Columbia County resident William Culley, age 57, of Chatham, was arrested Saturday, March 18, according to State Police.
After being tipped off, investigators determined that Culley was practicing as a psychotherapist without a license, police said.
He specializes in treating those recovering from a traumatic brain injury, as well as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and other behavioral issues, according to his profile on Psychology Today.

Police are renewing calls for tips one year after a man from the region disappeared.
Saratoga County resident Bilal Ashfaq, age 21, of Halfmoon, was last seen on March 16, 2022, on Terminal Road in Halfmoon, not far from the Mohawk River, according to State Police.
Relatives told investigators he went for a walk and never returned home.

An alleged drunk driver is facing multiple charges after he was busted driving the wrong way on a highway in the region, authorities said.
Greene County resident Conor Moan, age 25, of Greenville, was arrested for felony DWI and other charges following a near-crash that occurred early Sunday, March 5, on the Thruway in Schenectady County, in the town of Rotterdam.
