An Albany teenager led police on a brief chase through the city in a stolen car before slamming into a building, police said Wednesday, April 8.
Christopher Soto, 19, was spotted violating multiple traffic laws in the city on Wednesday, April 1, state police said.
Cops tried to pull Soto over, but he sped off down Second Street and initiated a chase, according to authorities. However, the short-lived pursuit ended when Soto crashed into a building on North Manning Boulevard, cops said.

NY Drunk Driver Busted With Toddler In Car On Thanksgiving, Police Say
A Brooklyn man is facing felony charges after he was pulled over on Staten Island while allegedly driving drunk with a 2-year-old child in the car on Thanksgiving Day, police said.
Elijah Page, 34, was stopped on I-278 near Exit 3 on Thursday, Nov. 27, after a trooper spotted a gray Honda sedan speeding and following another vehicle too closely, according to New York State Police.
During the roadside investigation, the trooper determined Page was intoxicated, and a 2-year-old child was found in the backseat, police said. The child was not injured and was released to a family member.

A driver with at least 10 license suspensions was busted behind the wheel with a fraudulent safety inspection sticker, police said.
Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials stopped Ricky Trombley, 52, in the Village of Corinth at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, after noticing what appeared to be an altered inspection sticker, deputies said.
Trombley, of Lake Luzerne, was driving on 10 or more suspensions, imposed on at least 10 separate dates for failure to answer, appear, or pay a fine, deputies said.
