A 26-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash on Route 9 in Columbia County, police said. The crash happened on Wednesday, March 18, just after 10 p.m. near 829 Route 9 in the town of Stockport, New York State Police said on Thursday, March 19. According to police, Mohammad M. Alamin, of Hudson, was driving a 2002 Ford southbound when the vehicle left the roadway. A Connecticut man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in North Babylon, Suffolk County Police announced on Tuesday, Jan. 20. The man was driving a 2025 Toyota Camry northbound on Deer Park Avenue when the vehicle veered off the roadway near Parkdale Drive and struck a utility pole at about 9:40 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19, police said. A pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run crash in has been identified, police announced on Sunday, Jan. 4. The victim was Cross Kim Young, 75, of Uniondale, according to an updated release from Nassau County detectives. Young was struck while attempting to cross Maple Avenue at the intersection of Hempstead Boulevard just after 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, police said. A toddler was killed when a pickup truck struck in a driveway on Saturday, Dec. 6, police said. The child was hit by a Ram 1500 in the driveway of a home on Maureen Drive in Mount Sinai at 12:42 p.m, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
