This story has been updated. A stretch of the Saw Mill River Parkway in Westchester County was shut down after part of the roadway collapsed. The closure happened Sunday evening, Sept. 7, on the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway at Farragut Parkway in Hastings-on-Hudson, according to the Dobbs Ferry Fire Department and Westchester County Police. As of around 1:40 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, all southbound traffic was being diverted off the parkway at the I-87/I-287/Route 119 exit in Elmsford, police said. Driver Killed In Crash With 2 Tractor-Trailers On NYS Thruway In Rockland County, Police Say
A driver was killed in a crash involving two tractor-trailers on the New York State Thruway early Saturday, June 21, New York State Police said. The wreck happened around 3:13 a.m. near Exit 12 in Clarkstown, Rockland County, according to state police. Investigators said a passenger vehicle and two tractor-trailers were involved. A major crash blocked all eastbound lanes of the Thruway in Rotterdam for hours on Thursday, Feb. 27. Eastbound I-90 was fully closed at milepost 158, at the I-88 interchange, at 12:45 p.m. due to a crash involving a tractor-trailer, the New York State Thruway Authority said. A fuel tank rollover crash has caused heavy delays on a busy stretch of the New York State Thruway. State Police said the crash has all I-87 southbound lanes closed from Exit 21 in Catskill to Ulster County in Saugerties Exit 20 for at least the next six hours. State police said the crash occurred in Ulster County around 3:50 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, near mile marker 105. Capital Region Woman, 25, Killed After Car Rolls Over Several Times On NY Thruway
This story has been updated. A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash after her car rolled multiple times on the Adirondack Northway. The collision occurred in Saratoga County around 4:50 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1, on the Northway north of the Exit 14 off-ramp in Saratoga Springs.
