A Rensselaer County man already accused of running a months-long scam that cost victims tens of thousands of dollars is now facing new charges after another victim came forward, police said.
Patrick Walsh, age 63, of Nassau, was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 16, on a warrant charging him with fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree scheme to defraud, New York State Police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

A Bergen County man who police accuse of threatening to kill Governor Phil Murphy was arrested in Florida, where authorities say he had a motorcycle, an SUV, and an RV — and a history of social media posts showing weapons.

A 63-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly conning multiple people out of thousands of dollars in a months-long fraud scheme, police said.
Rensselaer County resident Patrick Walsh, of Nassau, was arrested following a New York State Police investigation Monday, May 5.
Troopers determined that Walsh targeted victims while in Schodack, collecting payments for high-value items like RVs and concert tickets he never provided, police said. In total, he is accused of stealing over $20,000 through the alleged scam.
