Authorities identified two adults who died alongside three children when a fast-moving fire tore through their home in upstate New York.
Albany Police confirmed the victims as a father, 52-year-old Erick DeCamp, his three young children, ages 3, 4, and 6, and another adult, 47-year-old Eric Peterson.
Albany firefighters responded to the home on Twiller Street near South Bertha Street around 10:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, and found the structure fully engulfed, Albany Police Chief Brendan Cox said. A total of five people were inside.

A father and his two young sons were killed in a devastating house fire Saturday night, May 31, in a Hudson Valley, NY town, authorities said.
Shane Munn, 40, and his two sons, ages 12 and 17, all died in the blaze at 876 Pulaski Highway in Goshen at approximately 8:10 p.m., according to New York State Police.
