Man Repeatedly Stabs Woman In Front Of 2 Kids Inside Capital Region Home, Police Say A man is facing attempted murder charges following a stabbing attack that injured a woman in Albany. Officers responded to a residence in the city’s Beverwyck neighborhood, near Sherman and Quail streets, for a stabbing at around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2. Inside the home, they found a woman, 31, suffering from stab wounds to her torso, legs, and hands, Albany Police said. She was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital in stable condition. At approximately 12:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 25, deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a domestic dispute at 144 Lucky Lake Drive in Rock Hill, the department said.
