Shoplifter Who Killed NY Walmart Employee With Car Pleads Guilty, DA Says
A New York man admitted to drunkenly running over two Walmart employees and killing one of them in a confrontation last year, authorities said Wednesday, April 1.
Timothy Besaw, 34, copped to one count of aggravated vehicular homicide and one count of first-degree vehicular assault, the Saratoga County District Attorney’s office said.
Besaw, a Gansevoort resident, plowed through Michael Bushey, 69, outside the Walmart in Wilton on Oct. 16, 2025, authorities said. Bushey died about three weeks later from his injuries.

A traffic stop on I-87 in Albany led to the arrest of a Walden man for possession of felony-weight narcotics, the New York State Police reported.
According to Trooper Stephanie O'Neil, the incident occurred on Monday, Jan. 13, around 10:2o a.m., when troopers stopped a vehicle for multiple violations.
The driver, identified as Orange County resident Ibo E. Boone, age 37, of Walden, was found to have a significant quantity of controlled substances, O'Neil said.

A Troy man faces a long list of charges after a multi-state police chase that started in Vermont ended in a crash and his arrest in Queensbury, NY, authorities said.
On Thursday, Jan. 9, at approximately 12:54 p.m., New York State Police joined the pursuit of a vehicle that had fled a traffic stop in Vermont and evaded multiple law enforcement agencies in both Vermont and New York. The vehicle was first reported traveling on State Route 4 toward Whitehall, NY.
