Firework Detonation Blows Off Boy’s Fingers In NY (Developing) A child was purportedly seriously injured late Tuesday afternoon, July 29, in a fireworks incident in Middletown, according to developing reports. The boy, who neighbors estimate to be around 12 years old, was airlifted to the hospital after emergency crews responded to Emma and Ashley Avenues around 5 p.m., according to incident reporter Mark Lieb of Rockland Video Productions. 7-Year-Old Struck in Hudson Valley Crosswalk, Driver Cited for Failure to Yield: Police A 7-year-old child suffered minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street with his mother in a Kingston crosswalk. The incident occurred around 8:50 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8, on the Boulevard near Stewarts, said Lt. Patrick Buono of the Kingston Police. According to Buono, a 2011 Chevy Silverado, driven by Nicholas Visbeck, age 33, of Kingston, struck the child crossing the street with his mother in the crosswalk.
