Long Island Man Killed In Vermont Crash A Long Island man was killed in a crash in Vermont. The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 10 on Main Street in the town of Cavendish, according to Vermont State Police. Suffolk County resident Mark Funt, age 75, of Setauket, was riding an Artic Cat snowmobile when it crashed, police said. An investigation is ongoing. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

The kidnapping was reported in Connecticut when the suspect, 19-year-old Christopher Jesus Constanzo, abducted and sexually assaulted the female victim on Thursday, Dec. 2, according to Vermont State Police.  Constanzo is then reported to have held the victim in the trunk of his car while he drove from Connecticut toward the US border crossing in Highgate Springs, Vermont. Long Island Man Dies In Vermont Skiing Crash, Police Say A Long Island man died after hitting a tree while skiing in New England. It happened on Saturday, Dec. 28 at approximately 3 p.m. at the Killington Resort in Vermont. Nassau County resident Jason Vitale, 48, of Baldwin, was traveling at a high rate of speed on an intermediate trail when he lost control and collided with the tree, according to Vermont State Police.  Vitale, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, was quickly moved off the mountain by members of the Killington Ski Patrol, state police said.  Vitale went into cardiac arrest while being trans…
