Duo Steals $275K Diamond Watch From Long Island Jeweler, Police Say
Two men are accused of stealing a diamond watch worth more than a quarter-million dollars from a Long Island jeweler.
The theft occurred in Greenvale, at the Loucri Jewelers located on Northern Boulevard, at around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 17.
Nassau County Police said two men entered the store and one distracted the salesperson while the other concealed a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak custom diamond watch. The watch is valued at $275,325.
The pair then fled in a Ford SUV.

Suspects Smash Cases With Sledgehammers, Steal Watches From Greenvale Store, Police Say
Four suspects are wanted for stealing watches from a Long Island jewelry store.
The incident happened at London Jewelers, located at 180 Wheatley Plaza in Greenvale, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
NCPD said the suspects, who were dressed in black, smashed the glass display cases with sledgehammers and stole an unknown number of watches.
They fled the scene in a vehicle, traveling toward Northern Boulevard, police said.
NCPD said there were five employees in the store at the time, and no customers were present.
