Fatal Crash: 20-Year-Old ID'd As Victim, 4 Others Hospitalized In North Bay Shore One person was killed and several others hospitalized in an overnight crash in a residential neighborhood on Long Island. It happened around 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 6 in North Bay Shore. A 20-year-old was driving a 1995 Honda Civic eastbound on Pine Aire Drive when he attempted to pass a 2006 Ford van on the right at the intersection of Peck Avenue, Suffolk County Police said.  The Honda struck the curb, then hit the Ford before leaving the roadway, hitting a sign and utility pole, according to police.
