Murder, Money Laundering: Alleged MS-13 Members From Long Island, Queens, More Indicted
A new 48-count superseding indictment charging dozens of alleged MS-13 members – including a handful from Long Island – with murder, money laundering, and other charges has been released, officials announced.
On Wednesday, June 21, the United States Attorney’s Office unsealed a superseding indictment that charges 23 alleged MS-13 gang members, six of them from Long Island, of attempted murder, racketeering, and more.
Seven of the 23 individuals had been previously indicted and arrested, while the newly indicted were arrested in the days leading up to Wednesday, June 21.

Dealer Sold Deadly 'Fetty Mix' To Long Island Woman Who Overdosed, DA Says
An accused drug dealer is facing multiple charges in connection to a Long Island woman’s overdose death.
Jaquan Casserly, age 34, of Holbrook, was arraigned in Suffolk County Court Friday, Jan. 27, months after allegedly selling fentanyl to a Lake Grove woman who later died, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Police were called to the woman’s home on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022 with reports of an apparent overdose. The woman’s mother found her unresponsive in a bathroom, according to investigators.

Four Arrested In Riverhead After Complaints Of Drug Dealing, Police Say
Complaints of drug dealing on Long Island led to the arrests of four suspects who were busted with heroin, fentanyl, crack cocaine, and an illegal weapon, police said.
An investigation was launched in Riverhead earlier this year after there were repeated community complaints of drug dealing in the area, according to local, county, and state law enforcement.
