A woman died after an overnight Long Island house fire. Fatal House Fire: Hampton Bays Man ID'd As Victim
A Long Island man has died from injuries suffered in a house fire. The blaze broke out around 9:55 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10 in Hampton Bays. When police officers and firefighters arrived a woman who was able to escape the home, told officers that a man was still inside the Rolling Hill Road residence as heavy smoke and fire poured from the residence, said Sgt. Gina Laferrera, of the Southampton Police. Northampton Man Killed In House Fire
A man was found dead following a house fire on Long Island. The blaze broke out in Northampton around 12:40 a.m., Tuesday, June 14 on Wildwood Trail. Responders arrived within minutes and were unable to breech the door as the home was fully engulfed in flames, said Lt. Susan Ralph, of the Southampton Police. After the fire was extinguished by Riverhead Fire Department, a man's body was discovered within the residence, police said. Three Hospitalized After Fire Breaks Out At Long Island Apartment Complex
Three people were hospitalized as more than a dozen fire departments responded to a blaze that broke out at a Long Island apartment complex, officials announced. First responders were dispatched to a building fire that was reported at 135 Clinton Ave. in Hempstead at 3:24 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 6. Officials said that the Hempstead Fire Department responded with the assistance of 15 other area departments to extinguish the blaze, which led to three residents being transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
