Woman Killed After House Fire Breaks Out In Wantagh A woman died after an overnight Long Island house fire. Upon arrival at the home on Stanford Court, responders observed a working house fire.  The woman was removed from the residence and transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 9:12 p.m. by hospital staff. Fatal House Fire: Hampton Bays Man ID'd As Victim A Long Island man has died from injuries suffered in a house fire. The blaze broke out around 9:55 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 10 in Hampton Bays. When police officers and firefighters arrived a woman who was able to escape the home, told officers that a man was still inside the Rolling Hill Road residence as heavy smoke and fire poured from the residence,  said Sgt. Gina Laferrera, of the Southampton Police. Northampton Man Killed In House Fire A man was found dead following a house fire on Long Island. The blaze broke out in Northampton around 12:40 a.m., Tuesday, June 14 on Wildwood Trail. Three Hospitalized After Fire Breaks Out At Long Island Apartment Complex Three people were hospitalized as more than a dozen fire departments responded to a blaze that broke out at a Long Island apartment complex, officials announced. First responders were dispatched to a building fire that was reported at 135 Clinton Ave. in Hempstead at 3:24 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 6.
