Modeling legend Christie Brinkley has sold her waterfront Sag Harbor mansion for nearly $18 million after entering into contract to sell in February. She had been attempting to sell the home several times, telling reporters that she “hasn’t had the time to use the house as much as I used to.”
The 4.44-acre property includes a bayside pool and gardens, five bedrooms, four bathrooms and four fireplaces inside the 5,315-square-foot home. It was originally built in 1843, reportedly for a sea captain.
The exact selling price has not been announced due to a confidentiality agreement. The mansion was first listed in October 2010 for $15.75 million before being taken down a year later, then was brought back on the market in January 2017 for $25 million before that asking price dropped to $17.99 million in June last year.
Brinkley, best known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issued, and as a cosmetic company spokeswoman, also has a home in Bridgehampton, which is also listed for nearly $30 million.
