According to detectives, the school was notified of a possible incident and contacted police who conducted what they described as a thorough investigation that led to the arrest of Joseph Gallagher.
Gallagher was charged with two counts of third-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned on Wednesday, June 19 at First District Court, Hempstead.
