New footage shows the same mangled Honda Civic that was slammed by an NJ Transit train in Bergen County casually cruising down the Garden State Parkway — without its bumper, trunk lid, or license plate.
The Civic, which was struck at the Fair Lawn Avenue crossing on Thursday, May 22, was spotted by Ahmed Kasab near the southbound lanes near the Bloomfield toll plaza.
Kasab, a mechanic in Paramus, was stunned.

A juvenile who feared for their safety jumped from a moving Lyft in New Jersey after a missed turn. But police say it was all a misunderstanding.
The incident happened on Tuesday, April 22, around 3:32 p.m., after the juvenile requested a ride home from school, Police Capt. Michael deMoncada said.
The juvenile became alarmed when the driver took a different route and missed a turn onto their street, police said.

Pedestrian Struck, Killed Crossing Colonie Street
A pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing a Capital Region street.
The incident happened in Colonie, on Loudon Road north of Troy-Schenectady Road, at around 5 a.m. Monday, April 7.
Arriving officers reported finding a car that struck a pedestrian, Colonie Police said.
Bystanders attempted life-saving measures, but the victim, Felipa Martinez-Garcia, 49, of Latham, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 45-year-old Albany woman, remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said.

Zalynn Laporte, 12, of Cohoes, had last been seen on Sunday, Jan. 26, according to Cohoes Police.
On Monday, Jan. 27, police confirmed that Laporte had been located and turned over to her family.
