A man who was critically injured after being struck by a car on Long Island has died from his injuries, Nassau County police announced Wednesday, July 1.
David Ramos Acosta, 34, of Queens, succumbed to his injuries after the crash and was pronounced dead by a hospital physician on Monday, June 15, according to the Nassau County Police Department. Authorities publicly identified him in an update released Wednesday, July 1.
