6 Nabbed After Fight Breaks Out Near Hofstra University In Uniondale A group of men were all arrested after at least two people were stabbed or slashed when a fight broke out near a college. It happened in Uniondale on Wednesday, June 19, according to Nassau County Police. At around 4:20 p.m. that day, an altercation occurred between two men outside of 1000 Hempstead Turnpike, on the outskirts of the Hofstra University campus.
