Schenectady resident Thomas Ullman, age 47, was sentenced to 25 years behind bars in Albany federal court on Thursday, March 28. It followed his guilty plea to sexual exploitation of a child. Sex Offender From Region Nabbed For Failing To Register, Police Say A sex offender from the region is behind bars after allegedly failing to register under state law. Capital Region Sex Offender Sentenced For Escaping Halfway House A convicted sex offender from the region will spend additional time in federal prison for escaping from a halfway house. Glyn Frink, age 51, of Albany, was sentenced to three years behind bars Thursday, Sept. 29, after admitting that he signed out of a residential re-entry center to go to work in September 2021 and then never came back.
