'Preppy Killer' Robert Chambers Now Living In Hudson Valley Robert Chambers, also known as the infamous "Preppy Killer," is now living in the Hudson Valley following his recent parole from prison. Worker Critical After 40-Foot Fall Through Skylight At Hudson Valley School A construction worker is in critical condition after falling some 40 feet through a skylight at a Hudson Valley middle school. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 2 at the Union Vale Middle School in Lagrangeville.  According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, the man was working on the skylight when he fell. The unidentified man was airlifted by helicopter to Westchester Medical Center in critical condition, Harris said.  This is a developing story. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Dutchess County resident Robert Kerker, age 67, of Rhinebeck, who had been missing since Sunday, July 9, was located about 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 28, by search crews along the Stony Brook in Stockbridge, Vermont, about 1.5 miles downstream from where the trail crossed the brook. Scare At Playland In Westchester: Ride Spins Backwards Guests at a popular amusement park in the Hudson Valley got an unexpected scare when a ride wouldn't stop spinning. It happened this week in Westchester at Rye Playland, according to a report by ABC New York. The Music Express ride, which was carrying children and adults, spun backwards for as long as 10 minutes on Sunday, July 23, according to video obtained by Eyewitness News. Ulster County resident Felicia Waithe, age 28, of Kingston, was arrested at home Wednesday, July 12, following an investigation by sheriff’s officials. According to deputies, Waithe worked as a probationary corrections officer at the Ulster County jail in Kingston.
