'Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over' Campaign Launches Across NY State ‘Tis the season for cracking down on drunk driving. Starting on Wednesday, Dec. 13, and lasting through Monday, Jan. 1, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that the New York State Police would join in on the national “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign. During the campaign, additional patrols will be out on the road, and DWI checkpoints will be set up to ensure any person driving under the influence is taken off the road.
