Body Of Missing Belchertown Man Found In Wooded Area The body of a missing Western Massachusetts man was found Thursday morning, Dec. 19, in a wooded area, authorities said.  Robert Williams, 27, had been reported missing by his family two days before finding his body, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.  Authorities do not suspect foul play, but they did not disclose how he died. $1M Lottery Jackpot: Greenfield Man Collects Major Payday With New Ticket Christmas came early for a Western Massachusetts man who collected a $1 million jackpot in the state lottery.  John Swan, of Greenfield, collected his seven-figure win from the “$1,000,000 Merry & Bright," game, a $5 scratch-off ticket. It's part of the six holiday-themed games the lottery launched earlier this year.  He decided to take the lump-sum payment of $650,000 rather than the annuity.  Swan bought the ticket at Orange General Store at 217 East Main St. in Orange. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

Clinton Driver Killed, Another Hospitalized In Westbrook Crash A Connecticut man was killed and another person was hospitalized in a crash this week.  Michael Sutyla, 76, of Clinton, died on Wednesday, Dec. 18, in Westbrook Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 18, Connecticut State Police said.  Police believe Sutyla ran a stop sign at the intersection of Boston Post Road and Hammock Road, causing a crash with another car around 4 p.m.  Paramedics took Sutyla to Middlesex Shoreline Clinic, where he later died of his injuries.
