Route 17 Stop: NY State Ex-Con Had Drugs, Ammo, Rochelle Park PD Says
An upstate New York ex-con busted for drugs two months ago was illegally carrying hollow-point ammo, along with some drugs, when he was stopped on Route 17 before dawn Tuesday, Rochelle Park police said.
Stephone Salley, 25, of Schenectady had been free pending trial since early June, when New York State Police said they found him carrying heroin, cocaine, fentanyl and a drug cutting agent in the Orange County, NY town of Newburgh, records show.

A Diocese of Camden priest was one of two victims killed in a head-on crash over the weekend.
Father Alfred Onyutha, 61, of Vineland, was in a Huyndai SUV, when he struck a 44-year-old Williamstown man in a Nissan SUV on Tuckahoe Road northbound at Sheridan Avenue around 9 p.m. July 16 in Franklin Township, authorities said.
The 44-year-old driver was extricated and flown to Cooper Trauma, and later died. Onyutha was pronounced dead at the scene.

New Milford PD: Drugs Found Stashed In Cans Of Grape Drink, Deodorant, WD-40
A Clifton driver had a variety of drugs stashed in false-bottom cans of fruit juice, deodorant spray and WD-40 when he was stopped by a New Milford police officer, authorities said.
Officer Sam Doran stopped the 2004 Nissan at the intersection of Faller Drive and Bulger Avenue shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday, Detective Lt. Kevin Van Saders said.
Assisted by Lt. Scott Petrie and Officer Kyle Hill, Doran took the driver, Neel Chaudhari, 34, into custody for an active traffic warrant, he said.
A routine search found Chaudhari carrying a bag of cocaine, Van Saders said.
