Contractor Hospitalized In 12-Foot Fall From Roof In Ridgewood A 30-year-old contractor was hospitalized after falling from the roof of a Ridgewood home Monday morning, Jan. 27, police said. The incident happened at 444 East Gate, where the contractor fell 12 feet sometime around 11 a.m. Incident reporter Boyd A. Loving says the incident happened in the rear of the home when the worker fell from scaffolding. Ridgewood Police Capt. Glenn Ender says the worker was transported to Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Tanker Truck Overturns On I-295 Curve In Bellmawr Good Samaritans stopped to help a tanker truck that overturned on I-295 North in Bellmawr on Saturday, Jan. 25. One driver called 9-1-1 just after 12:40 p.m., when the driver lost control while navigating a curve at milepost 27, causing the vehicle to veer off the roadway and overturn, according to New Jersey State Police and Daily Voice sources. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, authorities said. The crash is under investigation, and no additional details were immediately available.
