Teen, 17, Seriously Hurt In Enfield Crash Trying To Escape Traffic Stop: Police
A late-night police encounter in Enfield ended with a teenage driver badly hurt after a crash.
The incident happened early Friday morning, Jan. 16, shortly before 1 a.m., along Hazard Avenue, when police spotted a car moving without its headlights on in the pitch black, Enfield police said.
An officer tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to pull over.
Instead, the car turned into a CVS parking lot. It sped around the building and exited onto Freshwater Boulevard, as it tried to speed away.

Cops ID Hillsborough Husband, Wife Beaten Dead In Home, Armed Man Shot By Officers
Authorities have identified a husband and wife found dead inside their Hillsborough home following an apparent double homicide.
David Lin and Jean Lin, both 69, were found inside their Cornell Trail residence on Thursday, Sept. 25, according to Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald.
As of press time, authorities had not identified the suspect, however, records show that a 37-year-old man named Patrick Lin is tied to the same address as David and Jean. On Sept. 25, he was charged with criminal attempt-omission step of commission of crime, according to the NJ Courts site.
