Shark Bites PA Teen Surfing In NJ A 15-year-old girl from Pennsylvania was bitten by a shark while surfing off the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The shark bite occurred off Stone Harbor's 109th Street Beach, around 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, Stone Harbor officials said. The injured surfer sustained several cuts to her left foot and calf, officials said. She received immediate onsite medical treatment from Stone Harbor Fire/Rescue.
