A 31-year-old Cape May County resident was arrested and charged on Wednesday, June 10, with distributing drugs throughout the county, authorities announced.

Carlos Steven Romero-Guzman, a 27-year-old Westville man and father of three, was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 295 in West Deptford on Monday, June 1.
A graduate of Gateway Regional High School in 2017, Romero-Guzman loved the outdoors, including going hiking and riding his motorcycle, according to his obituary from the McCann-Healey Funeral Home website.

Seven people were shot in Trenton late Tuesday night, June 10, authorities said.
At 10:30 p.m., officers police responded to Centre and Furman streets near Route 1 after receiving numerous ShotSpotter detections, and found several people with gunshot wounds, Trenton police said.
Two teenagers, one boy and one girl, are among the victims, a 20-year-old, 24-year-old, 29-year-old, 30-year-old and a 36-year-old, police said.. All were transported to a nearby hospital, police said.
