A family vacation turned into a fight for survival after a young boy encountered a terrifying danger along a popular island beach.
Beau Brattain, 9, was collecting sand near Bimini Cove in the Bahamas on Tuesday, July 28, when six dogs escaped and attacked him, according to police and multiple reports.
The animals bit Beau, a Florida resident, 100 times across his head, face, arms, and legs, according to The Nassau Guardian. He also suffered a severe scalp injury that left tissue and nerves exposed, NBC6 South Florida reported.

Sydney Towle, a New England-born TikToker who has been documenting her battle with a rare cancer for three years, has died. She was 26 years old.
Towle, who was raised in New Hampshire and graduated from Dartmouth, was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive bile duct cancer, in 2023.
