A 41-year-old Irvington man is facing charges out of Lyndhurst for operating a stolen moped without a license, police said. Lt. Paul Haggerty saw the gas-powered moped operating without a license plate at Riverside and Post Avenues just before 11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2, Lyndhurst Police Detective Lt. Vincent Auteri said. 4-Year-Old Stabbed Multiple Times In Paterson, Prosecutor Says
A 4-year-old child was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed multiple times in Paterson Friday, Aug. 23, authorities said. The incident happened near East 24th Street and 10th Avenue just after 4 p.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi said.
