Driver Hospitalized In Serious Route 80 Crash: State Police A Nissan driver was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following a serious crash on Route 80, state police said. The crash occurred in the westbound lanes near milepost 10.8 in Hope Township just before 12:40 p.m., NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota told Daily Voice. The Nissan driver struck the right guardrail, veered over all lanes and hit the left guardrail, suffering serious injuries, Slota said. The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment following the crash, which remained under investigation.
