Woodcliff Lake Victim, 17, OK After Pickup Rolls Into Trees Off Route 17
UPDATE: A 17-year-old Woodcliff Lake resident was hospitalized after her pickup truck rolled off Route 17 into the woods in Saddle River, authorities said Monday. She was taken to The Valley Hospital for evaluation as a precaution after her Toyota slid off the rainy southbound highway and into a wooded area near the Allendale border on Sunday. Crash At Mahwah Railroad Bridge Knocks Heavy Machinery Off Trailer
A piece of heavy machinery nearly got knocked off its trailer when it struck an overpass Friday morning near the Mahwah train station. The plow-sweeper was severely damaged when it struck the railroad bridge on Ramapo Avenue near South Railroad Avenue while being towed around 9:30 a.m. New Jersey Transit engineers and a township DPW crew were among the responders summoned. No injuries were immediately reported. The road remained closed temporarily. The site of repeated crashes, the bridge has a clearance of 9½ feet.

No passengers were aboard a New Jersey Transit bus that slammed into an NJ Turnpike toll plaza as snow began falling heavily Thursday morning, authorities said. It was one of nearly 100 crashes and several dozen assist calls that brought State Police troopers on roadways across New Jersey. State Police: Jackknifed Tractor-Trailer Backs Up Route 80 In Warren County
A tractor-trailer became jackknifed after hitting a guardrail Monday morning, causing a two-hour shutdown on Route 80 eastbound in Warren County, state police said. The truck hit the left guardrail near milepost 12 in Hope Township around 7:40 a.m., NJSP Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice. All eastbound lanes were blocked as a result of the crash but had reopened as of 10 a.m., Peele said. No injuries were reported, authorities said.

State Police: Both Drivers Seriously Injured In Warren County Head-On Crash
Both drivers were severely injured in a Friday morning head-on crash in Warren County, state police said. A 27-year-old East Stroudsburg, PA man was driving a Mazda westbound on Route 646 in Harmony Township when he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a 31-year-old Washington man driving a Jeep shortly after 8:30 a.m., NJSP Sgt. A crane clipped the bottom of a group of signs that hang over Route 3 in East Rutherford on Monday, scattering debris and closing lanes. Serious Motorcycle Crash Closes Parisppany Road In Hanover
A motorcyclist rider was seriously injured in a Parsippany Road crash in Hanover Wednesday, police said. Unconfirmed reports say the motorcycle slid under another vehicle near 239 Parsippany Road in Whippany. The area was closed for investigation as of 2:50 p.m. Hanover Capt. SUV Rolls On Garden State Parkway
A driver walked away with a minor injury after an SUV rollover crash on the Garden State Parkway, responders said. The crash occurred around 1:50 p.m. on the parkway’s southbound side near Linwood Avenue. Paramus police, firefighters and EMS, New Jersey State Police and a GSP road crew were among the responders.
