A veteran New Jersey corrections officer was killed last week when his car left the road, struck a tree and caught fire, according to NJ Advance Media. Daniel Sincavage, 41, of Rio Grande, was driving from one part of the Southern State Correctional Facility to another when the fatal crash occurred on Route 47, a PBA union leader told the outlet. Rawa stopped on the median to help the driver of the vehicle that went into the guardrail when another car struck the couch, crashing into the first vehicle -- pushing it into Rawa, police said. The officer was hospitalized in stable but critical condition. More than $17,700 had been r…

The man was sitting on the edge of the Route 9 span, which runs parallel to the Driscoll Bridge. Saucedo -- who works at the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Avenel -- parked his car an…

Authorities Suspend NJ Corrections Officer Involved In Counterprotest Mocking Floyd Death
State authorities said they’ve suspended a corrections officer who participated in the recording of what they called a "hateful and disappointing video" in which one man kneeled on the neck of another during a counter-protest to a "Black Lives Matter" march. In videos of the incident that continued to spread Wednesday, police-escorted protesters marching down a Franklin Township street in Gloucester County on Monday pass a group of men reenacting George Floyd’s death on a private property stacked with firewood for sale. A pickup truck bears an American flag and a “Trump 2020” banner, while …
