Authorities: Alleged Gang Member Nabbed In Sussex County McDonald's Stabbing, Victim Airlifted
A man was airlifted to the hospital after a suspect who identified as a member of the Latin King gang stabbed him at a Sussex County McDonald's, authorities said Thursday. The victim was flown to Morristown Medical Center with multiple stab wounds to the left side of his body after being attacked at the McDonald's on Route 23 around 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, Franklin police said in a news release. Police: Sussex County Woman Continues Harassing Officer She Bit Last Year
A Sussex County woman who police said has continued to harass a local police officer she bit last year was arrested again, making it three times she's been charged with a crime since then. Jordana M. Cappiello, of Hamburg, was being held Saturday in the county jail pending a detention hearing in Central Judicial Processing Court on harassment charges after police took her into custody on a warrant the night before. Police in Franklin are preparing to honor a little girl who kept her cool when her mother suffered a medical episode earlier this month. Emergency dispatchers Julie Kozo and Olivia Klein received a 911 call shortly before 8 a.m Dec. 6 from Isla Glaser. The four-year-old told the dispatchers that her mother had fallen and needed help. 'Catch These Fists,' Rowdy Bar Patron Tells Officer Before Hitting Him Twice, Franklin PD Says
A 32-year-old Franklin woman was taken into police custody after attempting to assault several bar patrons and then hitting an officer twice, authorities said. Police responding to Koz's Korner around 11:15 Monday night found Kasey Mulligan intoxicated and flailing on the ground outside the Rutherford Avenue bar in the rain, Franklin Police Chief Gregory M.
