Ex-Sparta Mayor From Ringwood Missing In Vermont Authorities in Vermont were searching for Brian Brady of Ringwood, a former Sparta mayor and onetime police captain with the New Jersey Department of Human Services who resigned in disgrace. Although foul play wasn't suspected, family members expressed concerns for Brady's welfare after he was last seen last Tuesday in the vicinity of the Champlain Bridge between Addison, VT and Crown Point, N.Y.
