A Paterson man was charged by federal authorities with participating in seven drugstore robberies in the Silk City and Passaic, including one in which they said an ex-con partner fired two gunshots. A parking lot attendant from South Jersey was charged with sexually assaulting a woman at a South Hackensack motel. Austin Walker, 22, of Pennsville, was taken into custody last week, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said on Monday, Oct. 9. A habitual offender with an apparent affinity for FedEx packages was identified and charged by Rutherford police who caught him in the act, authorities said.
