Rock Gym Among 3 New Tenants Leasing Space In Montclair Development
A rock gym, art school and medical center have been signed leases at the new mixed-use development coming to Montclair. The 3,300-square-foot facility is slated to open in the first half of 2021 next to the Wellmont Theater, Jersey Digs reports. The tenants are: One River School: Founded in 2012, in the Englewood-based art school has a mission to "transform art education." The studio offers in-person and online classes at 13 studios. Pompton Lakes Woodworking Teacher Known To Students As 'Dad' Dies Of Coronavirus
The Pompton Lakes community is coming together to support the legacy of a local high school teacher who died from COVID-19. Dennis DeCarlo had been an art and woodshop instructor at Pompton Lakes High School since the start of the 2012-13 school year, bringing with him years of expertise in woodworking and restoring furniture. Glen Rock Girl Perfectly Recreates 'Girl With A Pearl Earring' For Art Class
A Glen Rock girl has gone nearly viral in her community for perfectly recreating a renowned painting for art class. Brielle Lucchi and other Byrd School fourth graders were assigned the J. Paul Getty Museum Challenge, which has swept the internet during the coronavirus pandemic. Students were told to choose a piece of art on the museum's website and recreate it using three household items.
