Man Had Meth At Manahawkin Lake Park: Police A Barnegat man was arrested and charged after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine at a park in Manahawkin, authorities said. At 11:43 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, officers were conducting a property check at Manahawkin Lake Park when they developed suspicion that they were in possession of controlled dangerous substances, police said. A search led to the recovery of meth and drug paraphernalia, police said. Dennis Roberts was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
