Man In US Illegally Ran Sex Trafficking Ring In Nassau County, Police Say A man in the United States illegally is accused of running a sex trafficking ring on Long Island. Jorge Ramos, 55, was arrested on suspicion of sex trafficking and related charges Thursday, Feb. 20, according to Nassau County Police. An investigation found that Ramos, of Astoria, Queens, forced victims to engage in prostitution in Nassau County from July 2024 to February of this year, police said. Death Of 3-Year-Old At Corinth Home Under Investigation Authorities are investigating the death of a 3-year-old child at a Capital Region home. Emergency crews in Saratoga County were called to a Corinth residence on Main Street for a child who was struggling to breathe at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19. The child was transported to Saratoga Hospital where they were pronounced dead, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies did not speculate on a cause of death.
