Nobody was injured after a school bus collided with a vehicle in Hunterdon County on the afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 3, authorities said. At 3:25 p.m., troopers responded to the crash on Pattenburg Road and Bellwood Avenue in Union Township after the bus struck the right side of the Subaru, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Days after a crash that killed a teen girl, officials in Hunterdon County are looking to make the intersection where she died safer with the installation of a stop sign. An "all-way stop" is being proposed for the intersection of County Route 617 (Sydney Road), Hogback Road and Lower Landsdown Road in Franklin Township, the county's board of commissioners announced. Ten children and one adult were injured in a school bus crash Sunday, Aug. 25 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey State Police said. The bus was heading south on State Highway 31 in Glen Gardner, when the driver lost control at milepost 37.5 around 3:10 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Police have identified the victim of a crash early Thursday, Aug. 22 in Hunterdon County as a 16-year-old girl. Sophia Detorres, of Franklin Township, was a passenger in a three-vehicle crash around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hogback Road and Lower Lansdown Road, the county prosecutor's office announced. A pole is down on Route 12 in Hunterdon County on Friday, Aug. 9, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said. A 25-year-old woman was hospitalized after being bitten by a snake in Hunterdon County on Wednesday, July 24, authorities said. More than 1,800 Hunterdon County residents were without power Wednesday evening, July 17. It wasn't immediately clear if the outages were caused by storms being forecast to sweep across the region. Police are looking for a trucker who vandalized multiple porta-potties in a Hunterdon County park on Sunday, May 26. At 11:40 p.m., a driver in a maroon Chevy pickup truck with an engine hoist in the bed struck all of the porta-potties in Heritage Park, pushing one into a playground, Bethlehem Township Mayor Paul Muir said on Facebook.
