Three people in their 20s were killed in a South Jersey crash early Saturday, Aug. 17, police said. A 2006 BMW operated by Ian P. Rodriguez, of Millville, was heading west on Mayslanding Road at a high rate of speed when it suddenly left the roadway to the right on the approach of Panther Road around 8:25 a.m., Vineland Sgt. N. One person was injured in a three-car crash on Route 80 in Parsippany on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 8, authorities said. At 11:52 a.m., troopers responded to Route 80 eastbound at mile 42 for the collision between three passenger vehicles, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Two people were injured in a four-car crash involving multiple trucks on Route 80 in Warren County on Thursday, July 18, authorities said. At 10:47 a.m. on I-80 eastbound in Hardwick Township, a crash occurred between a tractor-trailer, two Ford pickup trucks and a Toyota sedan, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. At 9:35 p.m., a driver lost control of his Chevy SUV while traveling on Route 80 westbound in Roxbury Township, Troy McNair of the New Jersey State Police said. The car ran off the roadway and collided with a tree, McNair said. As a result of the crash, the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames, McNair said.
