Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured On Garden State Parkway In Irvington A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a camper on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The Ford E350 Camper was heading south when it struck the unidentified pedestrian walking in the roadway at milepost 145.2 in Irvington around 8:05 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.

Driver Crossed Double Yellow Lines In Hopatcong Crash, Police Seek Help Tracking Them Down Police in Hopatcong are seeking the public’s help in a hit-and-run crash investigation. The Hopatcong Police Department said the incident happened near 130 Dupont Ave. around 7:40 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. The vehicle was trying to pass another motorist when they crossed over the double yellow line and hit a moving car and three parked cars, the HPD said. The involved vehicle is believed to be a blue sedan with heavy front-end damage and missing part of the passenger side front bumper. Officials ID Man, 39, Killed By Train In Monmouth County Officials have identified the man struck and killed by an NJ Transit train on Saturday, Sept. 13 in Monmouth County. Anthony DePalma, 39, of Atlantic Highlands, was struck at the Monmouth Street crossing in Red Bank and involved North Jersey Coast Line train 7240, according to an NJ Transit spokesperson. The train left New York Penn Station at 12:07 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive at Long Branch at 1:38 p.m. The crash happened just after 1:30 p.m., Chartier said. Motorcycle Club Mourns Loss Of Rider 'BadKarma' Killed In NJ Turnpike Crash A Pennsylvania-based motorcycle club is mourning the loss of one of its riders who died during a group ride on the NJ Turnpike over the weekend. New Jersey State Police identified the motorcyclist killed in Robbinsville on Saturday, Sept. 14 as Jeff Ford. Sgt. Juvenile In Custody For Threats Made Against Hackensack Schools A juvenile is in custody after police say he made online threats of violence against multiple Hackensack schools on Saturday morning, Sept. 14. Police were made aware of the threats around 7:35 a.m. by school officials, Hackensack PD Capt. Michael Antista said. Prius Crashes Through Fence Behind Japanese Ridgewood Restaurant Firefighters were called to Ridgewood on Friday evening, Sept. 13 where a black Toyota Prius crashed through a chain link fence, over a retaining wall, and into the back of a restaurant, according to incident reporter Boyd A. NJ Man Accused Of Having Sexual Relationships With 2 Former Students In WV: Sheriff A 50-year-old New Jersey man was arrested on accusations he had a sexual relationship with two students while working as a substitute teacher in West Virginia more than 20 years ago.
