While being interviewed by investigators, a New York resident got the following text message: "Knock knock, show up, and what do you think is next. A professional poker player is suing the Borgata after an apparently offhand comment he made to a desk clerk about jumping out of a window got him banned for life. Scott Robbins of Millbury, Massachusetts is seeking more than $1.25 million, a major portion of which he alleges represents lost earnings from Atlantic City poker tournaments, court papers show. NYC Now Suing Newark Over Homeless Relocation Program: Report
The city of New York has filed a lawsuit against Newark, claiming that Newark cannot prohibit New York from relocating homeless families there, NJ.com reported Tuesday. New York's counter-suit was filed in response to a lawsuit filed by Newark against New York over the controversial relocation program, through which New York places homeless families in cities across the country and provides landlords a year's rent up front.
