18 Unsolved Burglaries Cracked: Pair Arrested In Months-Long North Jersey Spree
Two men have been arrested and charged in 18 burglaries and one attempted burglary across North Jersey, authorities said. A months-long investigation found Kali J. A Morris County man who served as a longtime general counsel to Moody's has pleaded guilty to willfully failing to file federal income tax returns for four years, federal authorities said. John Goggins, 63, of Chatham, grossed $54 million "from wages, restricted stock awards, the exercise of annual nonqualified stock options, interest, dividends, and gains from stock sales" from 2018 through 2021, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. A pedestrian was struck and injured by a train Thursday afternoon in Summit, officials said. The pedestrian was struck by NJ Transit's Morris & Essex line train 6625 near the Summit Station around 12:45 p.m., NJT spokesman Everett Merrill said.
