More charges have been filed against a 42-year-old Bronx, NY man accused of carjacking a vehicle after crashing a stolen car in Bergen County then attacking a police officer on the George Washington Bridge last weekend, authorities said.
Uvaldo Gonzalez, 42, has been charged with first-degree armed robbery, first-degree carjacking, third-degree receiving a stolen motor vehicle, third-degree theft of a motor vehicle, and third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose on Friday, Oct. 18, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

FedEx Driver Points Police To Bronx Thief On Quiet Waldwick Street: Authorities
An alert FedEx driver pointed police in Waldwick to a Bronx man waiting on a quiet dead-end street for packages that he fraudulently had delivered there, authorities said.
Officers Chris Sanchez, Dillon Sherman and Jake Wanamaker responded to her call and found the dark-colored sedan with Florida plates on Lee Court, just off Wyckoff Avenue, around 2 p.m. Friday, May 10, Lt. Troy E. Seifert said.

8 Prostitution Arrests Made In Secaucus Sting: Police
As part of an effort to combat vice-related crimes, eight people were arrested in Secaucus on Friday, Nov. 17 as part of a prostitution sting, authorities said.
At 6:55 p.m., police arrested Johanny Ledesma, a 45-year-old resident of the Bronx for engaging in prostitution, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. Less than an hour later, Simone Deoliveiraavila, a 36-year-old Newark was arrested for engaging and promoting prostitution, Miller said.
