Jeep Driver, 22, Airlifted After Being Struck Head-On By Ford F-250 In Route 31 Crash: Police A 22-year-old Washington woman was airlifted to a hospital following a head-on crash in Raritan Township on the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 21 that left another driver injured, authorities said. At 11:53 a.m. authorities responded to 361 State Highway 31 for a crash between a Ford F-250 and a Jeep Liberty, after the Ford which was traveling northbound, veered into the southbound lane, striking the Jeep, Raritan Township police said. Woman Found Dead In Retention Basin: Neptune PD A woman was found dead, lying in the snow in Neptune on the afternoon of Monday, Jan. 20, authorities said. Officers responded to 230 Jumping Brook Rd. at 1:07 p.m. and found a dead woman, wearing only a shirt and shorts, lying in the snow in a retention basin, Neptune Township police said.. The woman's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, police said. The investigation is ongoing and there is no known threat to the public, police said.

NJ Teacher Allegedly Impregnated By 13-Year-Old Former Student Released From Jail: Report Laura Caron, a 34-year-old teacher, charged with sexually assaulting a former student from when he was 11 years old, was ordered released from jail on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 6abc reports. The judge granted her release at a detention hearing, saying she was not a flight risk. $32 Million Lottery Ticket Sold In New Jersey It was a lucrative life changing day for a lottery player in Ocean County. A ticket sold in Jackson matched all six numbers in the New Jersey Lottery Pick-6 jackpot in the drawing held on Monday, Jan. 20 winning $32 million. This is the first Pick-6 jackpot of 2025. Man Admits To Fatal Atlantic City Shooting: Prosecutor A 35-year-old Egg Harbor man pleaded guilty on Friday, Jan. 17, to fatally shooting a man in Atlantic City in March 2023, authorities said. Jahlil Boston pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter and is expected to be sentence to 28 years in prison per the term of a plea agreement, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
